...to the website of the European Diploma in Urban Security project. 

With this initiative six European universities and the European Forum for Urban Security, a network of 300 local and regional authorities working together on all issues of security and crime prevention, want to respond with a genuinely new offer to a growing demand for training due to the emergence of new professions and job profiles with municipalities and regions all over Europe, which deal with security and crime prevention.

The goal of the project is to propose from February 2013 on the one year training programmes at Master's level European Certificate (ECUS)/the European Executive Master in Urban Security (EEMUS).

The university partners are:

the University of Maribor/Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security (Slovenia)
the University of Bologna’s Criminology Department (Italy),
the University of Geneva’s Department of Political Science and Institute for Environmental Sciences (Switzerland),
the University of Applied Science Ostfalia, Faculty of Social Work (Germany),
